Welcome to Auberge by the Sea Seikaiso
Thanks to everyone’s support, we are able to celebrate the 60th anniversary
of the founding of our inn and renamed its name to “Auberge by the sea Seikaiso”.
There is a bath which commands a panoramic view of Mikawa Bay in our inn.
Also, we cook wholeheartedly and offer you dishes which make use of seafood.
Please spend comforting time in an island where time goes by slowly and leisurely.
We’re looking forward to seeing you at our inn based on Japanese modern.
Treasury of Seafood
Himakajima Island located between Ise Bay and Mikawa Bay is a treasury of seafood.
Since our chef was an experienced fisherman, he has an excellent eye for seafood.
We always provide you dishes using fresh seafood.
Please enjoy the skills of our cooks and flavors of our dishes by seeing and tasting the seasonal seafood.

Taste of Winter
Among blowfishes recognized in Japan, tiger globefish is thought to be the most expensive blowfishes.
At Himakajima Island, it is called as “lucky fish”, and is considered as a good-luck charm that brings happiness.
Using that fish, we provide you “tessa”, clear and beautiful sashimi of blowfish, “tecchiri”,
a thick and collagen-rich hotpot, and “fugu zousi”, a blowfish porridge made with broth full of umami flavor.
The special blowfish course served at Seikaiso allows you to enjoy the skill of our chefs and flavor of our dishes by seeing and eating them.

At the grilled seafood restaurant L’eternite, you can enjoy seasonal ingredients of Himakajima Island.
We use various kinds of ingredients such as Chita beef, a special product of this district,
luxurious food such as Japanese lobster and abalone, fresh seafood, and seasonal ingredients.
Our chefs grill the finest ingredients on an iron plate in front of you to fascinate you.
Be intoxicated by the sounds and fragrant aroma coming from the iron plate and enjoy the delicacies.
If you look out the window, you can get a panoramic view of Mikawa Bay.
